Exploring Protein Folding Dynamics Across Biologically Relevant Forces and Timescales
We are an interdisciplinary research group based in the Physics Department at King’s College London.
We are interested in understanding how proteins fold under mechanical force and its impact to biological function.
We develop and employ high-resolution magnetic tweezers instrumentation. Our technique allows measuring single-protein dynamics at low forces during very long times—of several hours, or even days!
